Last night we walked a purple carpet through The British Library, London, to join in a scrumptious Cadbury’s Dairy Milk tasting event with Claudia Winkleman and Brian Blessed, whose MASSIVE VOICE will never fail to entertain us.
We were served canapés (err, squares of Dairy Milk, FYI) and cups of melted chocolate as Winkles took to the stage to extol the virtues of the nation’s favourite chocolate.
Attendees were then asked to come up with a creative word to describe the taste of Dairy Milk, as they launch their campaign to find a Joyville Taster. Customers can tweet their ideas to @CadburyUK with the hashtag #JoyvilleTaster for the chance to scoff themselves silly on Cadbury’s chocolate for the next year. Choctastic.
And once we’d picked our words (Amazebuttons and Tastebudtastic, FYI) – The Great Chocolate Mixionary spelled them out in a waterfall of chocolate letters for everyone to see. Amazebuttons indeed.
Our favourite moments of the evening were seeing Brian shout at an event organiser who not so subtly told him to wrap it up. Oh, and just Winkles in general. Her hair is strand-perfect!
